Certified Irrigation Repair Technician

40 Hour Course 5 Full Day Classes

​Upon completion of these 10 Basic Irrigation classes the technician will receive a Certified Irrigation Repair Technician Certificate and T-shirt attesting that the individual is proficient in basic irrigation maintenance, troubleshooting, water management and scheduling.

The certificate is recognized by the industry and can be shown to customers as a formal statement of qualification. Irrigator Tech classes can be applied toward Continuing Education Units (CEU’s).

Backflow Certification Course #30

40 Hour Course 5 Full Day Classes Saturdays

This is a 40 hour class requirement for certification. These classes concentrate on hands on with the backflow devices. The course will provide with an Irrigator Tech Binder along with a USC 10th Edition cross-connection book. ALL CLASSES MUST BE ATTENDED to complete the forty hour requirement. The Irrigator Tech Certificate is approved and can be shown as formal statement of your class completion in order to apply for local county water authorities and or the ABPA or AWWA certifications, depending on what is required in your territories of work.

Upon completion of this 40 hour course Class #30 will qualify students to apply for testing with county water authorities, AWWA or ABPA. These associations’ schedules can be found on their websites. These testing fees are in addition to your class fees and are not paid to Irrigator Tech. You will send them to the corresponding associations for processing before your testing date.

Certified Irrigation Auditor

32 Hour Course 4 Full Day Classes

​Irrigator Tech’s Certified Irrigation Auditor Certification, (C.I.A.) course is hands down the most comprehensive water auditing course available. Other associations advertise water auditing and management certifications that do nothing more than fall short of the bar that we have set in this all inclusive instructional course. All classes will include field labs so be prepared for outside work, you will get a little wet. Each class will end with a review of the class topics and a quiz which will consist of a course review and the certification exam.

Certification Requirements: Attend all seven C.I.A. course classes and pass the C.I.A. course exam with a score of 80% or better. To maintain certification, auditors must submit documentation of four completed audits per year along with a $25 annual evaluation fee. In the event that students do not maintain currency they must take Class 306 review and testing for renewal and then continue to submit 2 audits a year with the $25 annually. Students who take all 7classes may re-test once for free at the next location, testing fees will apply for further testing. (Student’s taking TEST ONLY, test fee will be applied for each re-test).

Preparing for the test: To allow sufficient time for study, persons should apply for examination well in advance of the test date. This Price is for One Person taking all C.E.O. Classes 701-710. The class consists of both a classroom setting and a hands-on approach.

Certified Irrigation Installer

40 Hour Course 5 Full Day Classes Saturdays

​Irrigator Tech’s Installation Certificate is designed to teach experienced students the professional techniques to perform and supervise commercial and residential installations. Our complete course instruction and wet lab will provide unparalleled experience to the student.

Each course has a lecture followed by a hands-on wet lab. Upon completion of the Certified Irrigation Installer (C.I.I.) classes, students will receive installation certificates valid for one year from course completion. Renewal is required annually to maintain certification.
